Nathan,
I would love to exchange information with you. William Walter Wentworth, b.1862, was my great-grandfather. My family still lives on the old homestead in Fairfield Twp. established by Charles.
I have a lot of info on his decendants and know where most of them are buried. Also on Pamelia's (actually Permelia) family. I think I have a biography or two somewhere.
My grandfather, Blair Wentworth, talked about Charles from time to time. He said that: "Charles was so mean, if he went into a den of wildcats, the wildcats would come out...If they could." Perhaps not too surprising for an orphaned child.
After Charles died, Permelia married the stepfather of Joseph's wife, Elijah Morgan. She died 10 Jun 1884. Both Charles and Permelia were buried in a small pioneer cemetery known as Reed or North Bend in Fairfield Twp. The cemetery has been cleared but is on private land. I don't know where you are, but if you come this way, I can help you get to it.
Many others are buried in Buckeye Cemetery in Van Buren Twp. You will need directions to find it, trust me, but it's not as inaccessible as Reed.
I can send you a file. Just let me know what format you can use.
It's been very nice meeting you (so to speak). Bye for now!
LuAnn
