He married on 29 Dec 1839 in Jefferson Co., New York Catherine Christian, born 12 Feb 1820 in Douglas, Isle of Man; christened 11 Feb 1821 in Maughold, Isle of Man, England; died 20 May 1900 in Dae Moines, Iowa, daughter of Ewan of Lezayre Christian and Jane Looney.

Children of John Griffis Fuller and Catherine Christian were as follows:
