So, I think i might have found John and Margaret on the 1860 Iowa census. Their last name was spelled RIESTOFER. They were in Jackson, Jackson, Iowa and the Bellvue post office....I have nothing for them in 1870. I realize Margaretha died in May of this year, but I still would like to find something on John and the children. Thanks again for any help!
