Looking for John A MARKLE (b. abt 1795 Canada, d. Maquoketa, Jackson County, Iowa). He arrived in Maquoketa before 1850, with wife Elizabeth (b. abt 1796, Pennsylvania, d. 1866 Maquoketa), and family. Also, Lewis MARKLE (b. abt 1791 Canada, d. Maquoketa 3 Sep 1859); Daniel Eastman MARKLE (b. 1818 Canada); Walter Eastman MARKLE and his wife Sarah SPRINGER (d. 1878 Maquoketa); Alexander MARKLE (d. Maquoketa); and Jacob MARKLE (b. 1819 Canada and d. 1893 Maquoketa). SPRINGER family arrived about same time. All information welcome. Willing to share.
