I came across the family from these family tree databases:

Lengerich, Kreis Lingen, Osnabrück, Hanover, Preußen is the better location, it is more exact then the other one. A number of families came from the Kreis (county) Lingen to eastern Iowa, western Illinois and Wisconsin.
