Ora Stickley Services Held Here Thursday

Funeral services for Ora Stickley, 74, of Baldwin were held at 1:30 p. m. Thursday in the Carson funeral home. The Rev. M. H. Nothdurft, pastor of the Maquoketa Methodist church, officiated. Burial was made in the East Iron Hill cemetery.

Mr. Stickley died Saturday evening, apparently after a heart attack, in his home. He was found dead Sunday afternoon. His wife had been visiting in Clinton.

He was born Jan. 17, 1881, at Guide Rock, Nebr., a son of Resin and Lucinda Stickley. He was a retired mail carrier.

He is survived by his wife, the former Ethel Butters; a son, Fay of Eastman, Wisc.; three daughters, Mrs. Frieda Monroe of Newton, Ia., Mrs. Doris Scott of Baldwin and Mrs. Beulah Nelson of Clinton; and 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
