Funeral of Miles Women Held Monday

Miles,Iowa Oct 16 (special)--
Bertha Struve was born in Washington township, Nov 17, 1857 and passed away Oct. 11, 1929 at her home in Miles, Iowa , at the age of 71 years.
Her entire life was spent in this community. On January 3, 1882 , she was united in marriage to Hans Friedrichsen. Purchasing a farm in Clinton county, they settled there the same spring and continued their farming operations until 1916 when they moved to Miles
Eight children , all of whom are now living , were born to Mr and Mrs Friedrichsen. They are John H. of Davenport; Will A. of Sawtelle ,Calif.; Frank O. of Miles; Ernest F. of Miles; Mrs Leon Walker of Miles; and Minnie and Bernice at home, and Leo R. of Woodward, Iowa. She is also survived by five grandchildren, one sister ,Mrs. Will Horst and two brothers John and Ernest Frahm, all of Miles.
Funeral services were held at the Congregational church in Miles, Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, with interment in the Miles cemetery.
The Rev. F.A. Court conducted the services and Mrs. William Householder and S.W. Watts sang with Mrs Fred Mennek**as accompanist.
