Anna Marie (Baguss) Clark, 93, of Maquoketa, Iowa, passed away on Friday, March 25th, 2022 at her home.

Anna was born on November 29, 1928 in Clarence, Iowa to Ferdinand Baguss and Lottie (Heath) Baguss. She attended schools in Monmouth, Rochester, Nashville and Maquoketa. She married Elmer Clark in 1948 and had 3 sons: Mike, Pat and Danny. She mostly talked about her time working at Clinton Engines and her ownership of Hurstville Bar and Grille, Galesburg Order Buyers and The Dairy Sweet. After retirement, she volunteered at the Maquoketa Community Services store and provided in-home care for others.

She was an avid crocheter and knitter, she enjoyed playing Bingo, visiting with family & friends, and attending her grandchildren's events and sporting activities. The last few years of her life she enjoyed the role as grandma and great-grandma. She had an open-door policy and enjoyed gatherings in her home.

Those left to honor her memory include her children, Mike (Julie) Clark of Corpus Christi, TX, Pat Clark of Eldridge, IA and Danny (Carolyn) Clark of Maquoketa, IA. She had 9 Grandchildren (Debbie, Donnie, Chuck, Ryan, Jesse, Patrick, Curtis, Katie, and Kara) and 18 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters Elaine (Cal) Hoskins and Sandy (Larry) Arensdorf, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings Emogene Smith, Herman Baguss, Edna Mae Phillips, Dorothy Coffin, Virginia Baguss, and Dasil Baguss.

A public visitation will be held on Monday, April 4th from 1:00pm-2:00pm. Services will be held at Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa at 2:00pm. Burial will be held immediately following the service at Mount Hope Cemetery.
