Clinton Advertiser 15 Oct 1920

Oxford Junction, Iowa, October 13 -- The funeral services of Louis Eichorn were held at the Lutheran church Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, Rev. Wollengmuth officiating. The Lutheran choir sang many appropriate hynms [sic]. The flowers which covered the casket showed in what esteem the deceased was held. Louis Eichorn was a young man of 22 years, living with his parents on the farm until the past year when they moved to town, he stayed at home until this summer when he went out to Dakota to assist in threshing, at which time he took sick. He came home after a week's sickness, and ever since was in bed under the care of a trained nurse. All that could be one was done, but the end came Friday afternoon. Typhoid fever was the sickness. He leaves to mourn his untimely death his heart broken parents and two sisters, Anna and Hertha. The entire community sincerely extend to the bereaved their sympathy.
