Jackson County Resident Dies
W. C. Veach of Miles, a life long resident of Jackson county passed away at a sanatorium in Shannon, Ill. He was past sixty years of age. He was born in Lamotte in this county and has lived at Sabula and Miles. The body was taken to Lamotte and the funeral held there, Rev. Newgard officiating. Interment was made in the M. E. cemetery of that place. Mr. Veach is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Otto Wacker of Sabula, and Gertrude Luella of Glenwood and one son Major Veach of Shannon.
