Maquoketa, Ia., Sept. 20--The neighborhood was shocked to hear of the sudden death yesterday shortly before noon of Mr. M. Seaver. Mr. Seaver had been going about as usual, and was out in the yard when Della went out to ask him something and found him dead. Deceased had lived here over half a century and Mr. and Mrs. Seaver had celebrated their golden wedding anniversary last March in the same house where he brought his bride here from east so many years ago, and where they had lived ever since. He was a good man and of strong New England character. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home. Rev. Chas. Fletcher will officiate.
