Maquoketa, Ia., Aug. 27--Two well-known Maquoketa residents were called to their reward Sunday. They are Charles Knorr and Elijah Gould.

Mr. Knorr was a highly respected retired farmer of this vicinity. He passed away at 12 o'clock noon Sunday, and was 57 years of age. The deceased was born July 31, 1860, in Wisconsin. He lived for a long time on his farm a half mile southwest of Maquoketa, but sold this place last year and moved to the city. Mr. Knorr was seriously ill but a few days.
