Maquoketa, Jan. 17--Services were held at Buchner's chapel this afternoon at two o'clock by Dr. J. G. Morgan for J. W. Dement, who resided north of town, and was another victim of the grippe. Mr. Dement was born on Christmas day in 1833 in Canada.
