Maquoketa, Ia., Jan. 16--William Daniel Becker died Saturday afternoon, Jan. 13th, at his home on Madison avenue. He was born at Bellevue, Iowa, Nov. 17, 1863. The funeral was held today at the home at 11 o'clock. The pastor who presided was from DeWitt. The Masons had charge of the services at the cemetery. There are besides the wife, seven children who mourn their father's death, all who live near here except one, Louie of West Union. The others are: Mrs. Paul Beck, near Andrew; Mrs. Gene O'Neal, Mrs. John Snail, and Willie, Marie and Opal, at home.
