Maquoketa, Iowa, Oct. 16--Hulda Ainsey Schieb, wife of E. F. Schieb, aged about 60 years died at her home on west Platt street at 7 o'clock Sunday evening, death being due to heart failure. She had not been in good health for several weeks yet was able to be up and about the house and look after her household duties, death occurring before medical aid could reach her. Deceased was one of the city's best loved women. She was an active and consistent member of the Baptist church, a member of the Rebekahs and one of the most prominent workers in any movement tending to the upbuilding of the city. She is survived by her husband, two sons Melvin F. Schieb, who is now a soldier on the Mexican border, and Dr. Alvin Schieb of South Dakota, four daughters, Mrs. Servatius of Anaheim, Calif., Mrs. Grace Smith, Chicago, and Mrs. Lula Meyerhoffer and Miss Thelma at home. No arrangements have been made as yet for the funeral.
