Maquoketa, Ia., Nov. 15--D. C. Mishier died this morning at 1:15 o'clock at the age of 80 years. Deceased was a prominent pioneer and taught school at the age of 17 years. He was a merchant at Monmouth when a young man and acted as deputy and clerk at the court house for twelve years. He was connected with the O. McCaffrey Wholesale Cigar and Tobacco company for twenty-five years. The funeral will be held from the home Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
