Preston, Ia., Oct. 27--Word reached the many friends of Timothy Sullivan that he quietly passed away at midnight Thursday, October 19th, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. C. J. Driscoll, in Fort Dodge. Mr. Sullivan went to Fort Dodge several months ago to visit and about a week ago he was taken with peritonitis, which took him to that better land. Mr. Sullivan was born in Ireland, November 1, 1846, and at the age of 21 came to Iowa. In 1877 he was united in marriage to Miss Hanna Crowley, to which happy union eight children were born. Mr. Sullivan has resided north of Preston until two years ago, when he retired from the farm and moved to Preston, where he has since lived. Mr. Sullivan was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic church of Preston. He leaves to mourn his death his devoted wife and eight children, as follows: Mrs. C. J. Driscoll, Fort Dodge; Mrs. Wm. Kroeger, Sabula; Mike, John, Statie and Mayme, of Vincent; Josephine and Conn, at home. Interment was made at Fort Dodge.
