Bellevue, Ia. March 28--At 10 o'clock Sunday night Mrs. John Stuckey passed from our midst at her home in North Bellevue to the world beyond. Mrs. Stuckey had been suffering much yet her demise was a shock and unexpected as her condition was not believed to be serious.

Mrs. Stuckey was born in 1863, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bauch. She became the wife of J. W. Stuckey in 1879. She leaves her husband, three daughters, a brother, a sister and one granddaughter to mourn her loss.

Mrs. Stuckey was held in high esteem by neighbors and friends while her relatives feel the loss of a faithful helpmate, mother and counselor. She was a member of the Presbyterian church. Her pastor, H. C. Irvine, conducted funeral services for her at the family home in North Bellevue. Interment was made in the Presbyterian cemetery. The pallbearers were L. J. Brown, W. G. Stewart, Chas. Stewart, W. I. Schermer, Henry Tietgen, Ed. Huller.
