MRS. GERTRUDE LYNCH

Mrs. Richard (Gertrude) Lynch, 85, died at 3 p.m., on February 10 at Valley Hospital at Encino, California.

Friends called at the Devaney Funeral Home in Cascade from where services were held Saturday to St. Patrick's Church, Garryowen. The Rev. Francis Phelan officiated at the Requiem Mass and graveside services in St. Patrick's cemetery. Casketbearers were Paul Noonan, F. J. Noonan, Bill Noonan, Willard Noonan, Glynn Noonan, Bud Noonan, George O'Brien, Ray McDonnell.

The deceased was born at Garryowen May 11, 1884, daughter of Daniel and Mary (Driscoll) Noonan. She farmed with her husband, Richard Lynch, in the Garryowen area the greater part of her life. The past few years she had made her home with her daughter in California.

Surviving her passing are one daughter, Mrs. Henry (Margaret) Reyes, of Encino, California; one brother, Frank Noonan, Bernard; one sister, Mrs. Loretta Ryle, of Bernard; and 2 grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Richard, who died in June of 1947, her parents and 5 children in infancy.

The St. Patrick's parish rosary was recited Friday evening at the funeral home.
