Elizabeth A. Coomer, 46, of 226 West Seventh St., Monticello, Iowa, died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012, at Jones Regional Medical Center, Anamosa, after a sudden illness.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, at Reiff Funeral Home, Cascade, where a prayer service will be held at 6:45 p.m. with the Rev. Scott Bullock officiating. Burial will be in

St. Patrick's Cemetery, Garryowen, at a later date.

Liz was born on Sept. 27, 1965, in Shreveport, La., daughter of Doug and Brenda (Johnson) Boutlier.

Surviving are her companion, Dennis Bechen, of Monticello; his family, two sons, Brannon Bechen, of Farley, and Adam Bechen, of Bernard; his sister, Sr. Linda Bechen, of Anamosa; her son, Michael D. Weaver, of Monroe, La.; her mother, Brenda (Verne) Wright, of Mobile, Ala.; her father, Doug Boutlier, of Grand Canyon, La.; and her grandmother, Rachel Boutlier, of Stonewall, La.

A Elizabeth A. Coomer Memorial Fund has been established.
