Death of Patrick O'Callahan.

Patrick O'Callahan of Clay township, died at his residence on the Cascade and Canton road on Friday, Feb. 7th, 1890. He was among the old residents of the township and very much respected by his neighbors and all with whom he came in
contact.

He was born at Kilfenora, county of Clare, Ireland, in 1827. He emigrated to the United States in 1850 and for a time resided in St. Louis and Milwaukee. In 1856 he came to Dubuque and in 1858 located in Clay township, Jones county, where he resided up to the time of his death.

There survive him of his family his daughter Miss Mary O'Callahan and his nephews P. H. O'Callahan of Dubuque and Patrick O'Callahan of Clay township. The funeral took place at Garry Owen on Sunday afternoon and was largely attended. The pall hearers were M.
Lawless, Peter Connell, P. W. Crawford Peter Hartz, P. Foley and Patrick Hughs.
