MRS. ELIZABETH MELLOY

Mrs. Elizabeth Melloy, 86, of Bernard, died Tuesday morning, April 15, 1980, at the home of her son, Robert Melloy in Dubuque. Her husband, James Melloy preceded her in death February 15, 1958.

Friends may call at the Ed Siegert Colonial Funeral Home, 390 No. Grandview Ave., Dubuque, from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, where the wake services will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Patrick's Church, Garryowen. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Elizabeth Melloy was born in Bernard February 27, 1893, daughter of Edward and Mary (Hawks) Noonan. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church and Rosary Society. She was married to James Melloy and they farmed in the Bernard area for many years.

She is survived by three sons, John and Ed, Bernard and Robert of Dubuque; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Josie Redmond, Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Teresa Redmond, Dubuque.

A memorial fund has been established.
