DEATH OF PATRICK MELLOY

Patrick Melloy, passed away at his home near Bernard on Saturday midnight. He was ill only a week with pneumonia, and his sudden demise will be deeply mourned by all who knew him.

The deceased leaves to survive him his mother, Mrs. Cornelius Melloy, and six sisters, Misses Myrtle, Loretta, and Emily of Bernard; Mrs. John Ronek of Cedar Rapids; Sister Mary Esther of the Sisters of Mercy of St. Joseph's hospital, in Dubuque, and Miss Anna Melloy, employed at Morrison Bros. company, Dubuque.

The funeral was held Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the family residence to the Catholic church at Garryowen. Rev. Father Walshe officiated at the services and interment was made in the cemetery adjoining the church.
