Wm. J. Stanton Beloved Citizen, Died Suddenly .
Heart Attack Fatal; Interred at Garryowen.

William J. Stanton.

William J Stanton, 7S, passed away suddenly Monday morning at 9:30 o'clock from a heart attack..

He was born July 31, 1865, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Stanton, on the farm on which he lived at the time of his demise, having lived his entire life on that farm..

He was married at St. Patrick's Church, Garryowen, to Miss Agnes Mahoney, who preceded him in death, having passed away in March, 1943..

Surviving him are two sons—Orland of Chicago, Ill., Lloyd of Garryowen, two daughters—Mrs. Danny (Mary) Martin, Garryowen, and Mrs. Francis (Mildred) Wolfe of the Temple Hill vicinity, and one brother, David Stanton.

The funeral was held Wednesday morning a t 9:30 o'clock from the home to St. Patrick's Church, Garryowen. The Rev. Fr. Feelan of the Mission House, Epworth, sang the Requiem Mass. Devaney Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements..

Pallbearers were: Patrick Callahan, Nick Rolllnger, George Coyle, Dennis Dullea, John Hosch and Vince Henneberry
