MADISON, Wis. - Shawn J. Molony, 53, of Madison, passed away at 12:40 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, peacefully at home of natural causes.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, at St. Joseph's Church, 10270 Key West Drive, Dubuque, with the Rev. Jerry W. Blake and the Rev. Michael Hutchins officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, North Garryowen, Iowa. To celebrate Shawn's life, friends may visit after 9:30 a.m. until the time of services Tuesday at the church. Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St., Dubuque, is in charge of arrangements.

Shawn was born on July 25, 1959, in Madison, son of Daniel and Elaine (Beauchamp) Molony. He was a lifelong resident of Madison.

He worked for Goodwill Industries and various other businesses in and around Madison.

Shawn loved working and spending time with his friends. He also enjoyed listening to music, dancing and watching wrestling.

Surviving are his parents, Daniel "Pat" and Elaine Molony, of Dubuque; his siblings, Patrick Molony, of Des Moines, Erin Molony, of Overland Park, Kan., Timothy (Laura) Molony, of Atlanta, and Luke (Victoria) Molony, of Fairfax; and his nephew and nieces, Liam Molony, Brighid Molony, Keelin Molony, Katie Molony and Gracie Molony.

A Shawn J. Molony Memorial Fund has been established.
