Garryowen

The death of Mrs. John Noonan took place Jan. 3, at 11 a.m. She was interred in Garryowen cemetery Jan. 5. Her funeral was largely attended by many sorrowful relatives and friends, who were anxious to pay all possible attention to one whom they highly esteemed. She was a sincere, zealous and upright woman, loved
by all who knew her, a devoted wife and a most affectionate mother. Her maiden name as Jane Burke.
She has two brothers, Henry and David Burke, residents of Garryowen who still survive her. Her husband and eldest son, John, died about two years ago. She leaves one daughter, Mary, of Chicago, and two sons, Michael
and Henry, to mourn her sad loss. Her children were all with her for several weeks previous to her death.
