Chas. H. Fayram, Well Known Here, Dies in Los Angeles

Charles Herbert Fayram, husband of Rosella Reeder Fayram, passed away after a brief illness on Friday, Nov. 2, 1951, at Los Angeles, Calif.

Mr. Fayram was born in Monmouth, Iowa. Starting as a boy telegraph operator he served as station master for the North Western Railway at Clinton, Iowa, and later as auditor in their Chicago offices. In 1904 he and Mrs. Fayman moved to Los Angeles, when he became chief auditor for the Santa Fe Railway at their city passenger offices, which position he held until his retirement ten years ago. During the second World War he returned to serve as auditor for the North American Aviation Co. of Los Angeles.

Mr. Fayram was an active member of the First Methodist church of Los Angeles for 45 years, being a member of its official board and chairman of its personnel department. His influence was greatly valued.

Mr. and Mrs. Fayram were yearly visitors in Tipton at the home of her father, the late John W. Reeder, as well as at his birthplace at Monmouth.

Surviving him are his widow, Rosella, and five brothers: Martin J. of Belvedere, Ill.; Arthur J., of Delmar, Iowa; Ernest M., of Clinton, Iowa; Jerome C. of Jackson, Mich.; Alonzo M., of Los Angeles.

Funeral services were held in the First Methodist church of Los Angeles, with interment at the Forest Lawn cemetery, Los Angeles.
