Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at Carson Funeral Home for William Moore, 81, who died Monday, March 12, 1973 at the Jackson County Public Hospital. The Reverend Von Elbert will officiate and burial will be in the Canton Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Carson Funeral Home.

William Moore was born February 6, 1892 at Caldwell Kansas to Tom and Rosetta Carr Moore. On July 3, 1917, he married Sarah Potter in Maquoketa.
