Henry H. Clark, 66, of Monmouth died Thursday, Aug. 27, [1987] at Jackson County Public Hospital in Maquoketa.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m.Sunday, Aug. 30 at W.G. Carson & Son Funeral Home in Maquoketa.Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday Aug. 31 at the funeral home with the Rev. Glen Bailey, pastor of Baldwin-Monmouth Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Streets Cemetery, with American Legion Post No. 75 holding graveside services.
Mr. Clark was born Feb. 2, 1921 in Maquoketa to Ezra and Louise Durkop Clark. He married Helen Manning Jan 18, 1944 in Maquoketa. She preceded him in death on Nov. 2, 1978. He married Camilla Moore May 9, 1983 at Monmouth.
He was employed at the Clinton Engines foundry for many years. He was a World War II veteran and a member of the American Legion pot.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Carolyn Evens of Baldwin, Marilyn Potter of Maquoketa, and Ellen Clark of Monmouth. Seven sons, Ezra, Lucky and Martin, all of Maquoketa, Phillip, Randy and Al, all of Monmouth and Marvin of Oxford Junction; five step-sons; one stepdaughter, 25 grandchildren; 15 step grandchildren; one sister Kay Streets of Monmouth; and three brothers, Leonard of Joplin, Mo., David of Stockton, Iowa and Glenn of Panora, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, two sons, one daughter, one sister and two brothers.
