CHRISTINA FUGLSANG DIES MONDAY AT 78
Mrs. Christina Fuglsang, 78, died at noon Monday at the home of her daughter, Mildred Dosland, near Welton. She had been ill a long time. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Maquoketa Lutheran Church with Rev. Groenwalt of Lost Nation officiating, Burial will be made at Union cemetery.
Mrs. Fuglsang was born July 19, 1872 at Cliplut, Denmark, a daughter of Peter and Margaret Johannsen Kier. She was married to John Fuglsang on November 29, 1893. She had been in the United States 60 years. She is survived by ten children, Hans of Wyoming, Soren and Mary Schoenthaler of Lost Nation, John of Andrew, Harold and Mildred Dosland of Welton, Dorothea McCutcheon of Maquoketa, Floyd of Del Paso, California and Milton of DeWitt; one brother, Jerry Kier; 27 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, three children, four brothers and one sister.
