Bellevue, IowaServices for Joseph Kloft, 89, of Bellevue will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Springbrook. Burial will be in the church cemetery. (rest of paragraph omitted)
Mr. Kloft formerly farmed east of Springbrook, retiring, in 1969.
He was born on Oct. 7, 1900, in Bellevue, son of Nicholas and Mary (Wehr) Kloft. He died Friday morning, Aug. 17, 1990, at Mill Valley Care Center, Bellevue.
He married Irene Heuertz on Oct. 5, 1926 in Springbrook; she died on May 12, 1981.
He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bellevue.
Surviving are two sons, Dorman of Maquoketa and Wayne of Miles; three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Elaine) Weis of Springbrook, Mina Theisen and Mrs. John (Nancy) Rubel, both of Bellevue; 27 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, John A. of Bellevue and Michael of Dubuque; three sisters, Susan Michel of Clinton, Caroline Bies of Bellevue and Hannah Homan of Spragueville.
