LaMotte, Iowa

Mrs. Joe (Irene Davis) Nemmers, 75, of Route 1, LaMotte, died Friday night at Finley Hospital in Dubuque.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Donatus (Iowa) Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2-9 p.m. Sunday at the Kingery-Gallagher Funeral Home, Bellevue, Iowa, where the rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.

Mrs. Nemmers was born in St. Donatus and was a member of the St. Donatus Catholic Church Rosary Society.

Surviving besides her husband are four sons, Virgil of Bellevue, Alvin of Sherrill, Iowa, Loras of LaMotte and Robert of Dubuque; one daughter, Mrs. Dale (Shirley) Wilming of Dubuque; 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, and her twin sister, Mrs. Eleanor Hingtgen of Dubuque.

She was preced in death by a son, Joey.
