Bellevue, Iowa

Leo C. Ambrosy, 64, of Bellevue died Wednesday at St. Joseph's Unit of Mercy Health Center in Dubuque.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bellevue, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3-5 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Friday at the Kingery-Gallagher Funeral Home in Bellevue, where the rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Friday.

Mr. Ambrosy was born in St. Donatus, Iowa. He had been a livestock buyer for the Dubuque Packing Co. from 1950 until 1980 when he retired.

Surviving are his wife, the former Leola Kilburg; a son, Larry, and a daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Shirley) Black, both of Bellevue; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild; four brothers, Ervin and Alfred, both of Dubuque, and Wendall and Lester, both of Bernard, Iowa, and three sisters, Mrs. Fabian (Lucille) Duster of Holy Cross, Iowa, Mrs. Louis (Sylvia) Kress of Key West, Iowa, and Mrs. Carl (Olivia) Ernst of Bellevue.
