Leola Ambrosy, 77, of Bellevue, died May 24, 1991, at Mill Valley Care Center, Bellevue.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bellevue, with burial in the church cemetery.

Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday at Kingery-Gallagher Funeral Home in Bellevue. A scripture service will be held at 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Ambrosy was a homemaker. She was born July 14, 1913, at Springbrook, Iowa, to Nick and Mary (Dondlinger) Kilburg. She married Leo C. Ambrosy on Jan. 22, 1941 at Springbrook; he died Dec. 7, 1983.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and its Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Bellevue Senior Citizens.

Survivors include one son, Larry of Bellevue, one daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Shirley) Black of Bellevue; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Marlena Arensdorf of Dubuque, and three brothers, Lester and Wallace Kilburg of Bellevue and Melvin Killburg of Springbrook.
