Funeral Service Of Mrs. Ethel Street Observed

CANTON—-Funeral service for Mrs. Ethel Streets was held at the Methodist church in Monmouth Wednesday afternoon of last week at 2 p.m. Rev. Samuel Knoer officiated. "Beautiful Isle" and "No Night There" were sung by Mrs. Lee Allen and Mrs. R. C. Best, with Mrs. S. A. Orris at the piano.
Mrs. J. H. Orris and Mrs. J. W. Allen were in charge of the flowers. Casket bearers were J. W. Allen, E. K. Bristol, John Edwards, Howard Green, John Teeple, Ralph Edwards. Burial was in Monmouth
cemetery. Ethel Streets was born near Onslow on Jan. 22, 1880 and met her death at her home in Canton Sept. 9. She was the eldest daughter of Albert and Mary Dubois. She was married to Elijah Streets May 4, 1913. He died Aug. 2, 1925. She was a talented musician, taught music several years, and was a lover of nature and outdoor life. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Vera Fayram, Monmouth, and several cousins.
