MAQUOKETA BOY DIES FROM INJURIES WHEN HORSE FALLS
Edward Carson, 12 year old son of Frank Carson, Maquoketa druggist, died in the hospital Tuesday at 11 o'clock from injuries sustained from a fallen horse. He was riding horseback with a friend Saturday when his horse stepped in a hole throwing him off and then falling on him. He was taken to the hospital, but did not regain consciousness and passed away August 22.
Edward Carson is the nephew of William Carson, associated with Ed Balster in the furniture and undertaking business. He would have celebrated his twelfth birthday Monday.
Funeral arrangements are being made to be held in the home in Maquoketa, Friday at 10 a.m. and at the Episcopal Church at 10:30 a.m.
