Alice S. Mummert,84, of Oak Glenn Nursing Home, Coal Valley, IL, formerly of (address deleted) East Moline, IL died Friday in Lutheran Hospital, Moline.
The funeral will be at 1:30 PM, Monday in Clinton Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Paul O. Pfaltzgraff of First United Methodist officiating. Burial will be in Clinton Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 5 to 8 PM, Sunday.
She was born Feb 18, 1900, in Maquoketa, IA to Seneca F. and Mary Kelchner Keeley. She married Ralph R. Mummert on Feb 22, 1927, in Mt. Carroll, IL. He died in 1976. She received her education in Clinton schools and lived in Clinton area most of her life. She moved to Savanna, IL in 1964 and later to East Moline, IL in 1976. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Byrl (Joan) Cousins of East Moline; two granddaughters, three great grandchildren; four sisters, Emma Broadrick, Sybil Limaker and Mrs. Orville (Laura) Young, all of Clinton, and Mrs. O.D. (Zella) Thomson of Baldwin, N.D.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother and two sisters.
