Agnes Grosskruger

PRESTON, Iowa - Services for Agnes Grosskruger, 88, of rural Preston, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Salem Lutheran Church, Spragueville. Burial will be in Spragueville Cemetery.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home, Preston.

Mrs. Grosskruger died Saturday at Samaritan North, Clinton.

Agnes Kruse married John L. Grosskruger in 1931 in Spragueville. He died in 1983.

The couple farmed in rural Preston their entire career. She continued working on the farm after her husband's death.

She was a church member.

Survivors include daughters, Arlene (Mrs. J.C.) Engel, Maquoketa; and Norma (Mrs. Dale) Schmidt, rural Baldwin; a son, Herman, Andrew; seven grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; seven greatgrandchildren; two stepgreatgrandchildren; and brothers, Henry Kruse, Nevada, Iowa; John Kruse, Maquoketa; Emil Kruse, Preston; and Virtus Kruse, Clinton.
