MRS. WILLIAM NAGEL

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Allen funeral home, Sabula, for Mrs. William (Hattie) Nagel, 66, of rural Miles who died Monday in Jane Lamb Hospital. Burial will be in the Miles cemetery.

Visitation begins at 2 p.m. today. Grandsons will be pallbearers.

Mrs. Nagel was born June 18, 1904, in rural Sabula, the daughter of John and Dora Bruhn Dau. She attended rural Sterling and Teeds Grove schools and married William Nagel on July 8, 1925 at the Preston Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Larry Nagel of Miles and William Nagel of Thomson; six daughters, Mrs. Virtus (Evelyn) Kruse of Clinton, Mrs. Betty Meyers of Sabula, Mrs. Lyle (Elaine) Clark of DeWitt, Mrs. Allen (Phyllis) Schnur of Daytona Beach, Fla., Mrs. Barney Bechtel of Morrison and Miss Carol Nagel of Miles; 14 grandchildren; a brother, Claus Dau of Clinton and three sisters, Mrs. Anna Dietz of Maquoketa, Mrs. Hugo (Leona) Thielen of Green Island, and Mrs. Ernie (Alma) Jackson of Miles.

Preceding her in death were here parents and a daughter.
