Milo Kueter
(February 18, 1923 - May 26, 2009)Milo H. Kueter, 86 of Bellevue, died Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at Mill Valley Care Center in Bellevue. Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 29 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bellevue, officiated by Father Stephen Meyer. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Kingery~Lemke Funeral Home and again Friday at the funeral home from 9:30 until procession to the church.
Milo was born on February 18, 1923 in Bellevue, son of John and Mary (Sieverding) Kueter. He married Mary Schilling on November 21, 1944 in Bellevue. She passed away December 20, 2008.
Milo served in the United States Army. He has farmed since 1948 and owned and operated his own farm since 1951. He also worked at Clinton Machine, and later John Deere Dubuque Works for 28 years. Milo and his wife Mary enjoyed going to the fair grounds regularly, to listen to live country music. He truly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, he will be deeply missed.
Surviving is his two children, Ron (LaVonne) Keuter, and David (Linda) Kueter, both of Bellevue; six grandchildren, Terry (Linnet), Brian (Pamm), Jeanna (Fiance Matt Schmidt), Eric (Naomi), Jaydon and Brendan Kueter; six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Cleta (Harold) Herrig of Bellevue, Elaine (Quentin) Schumacher of Dubuque, Ceil (Lorin) Hager of Pahrump, NV; and two sisters in-law Armella Kueter, of Praire Du Chien and Imelda Kueter, of Bellevue.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife and daughter, Patricia; four brothers, Nestor, Ralph, Paul and Gregory
