Rosetta Caroline Kueter

Rosetta Caroline Kueter, 96, of Bellevue, passed away Friday, March 21, 2008 at the Mill Valley Care Center in Bellevue.

Rosetta was born August 6th, 1911 in Tete des Morts Township, daughter of the late Henry J. and Anna (Specht) Fischer. She graduated from St. Joseph High School in Bellevue. She married Leo Kueter on November 23rd, 1931, at the St. Donatus Catholic Church in St. Donatus, he preceeded her in death in December of 1972

Rosetta was a homemaker. She enjoyed music, sewing, quilting and gardening. Most of all she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of the Rosary Society and Knights of Columbus Auxiliary.

Survivors include her children, Phyllis (Wilfred) Schwager, Bellevue, Thomas (Mary) Kueter, Peosta, Gloria (Richard) Medinger, Bellevue, Joseph (Nancy) Kueter, Bellevue, Martha Rheingans, DeWitt, Dennis (Vicki) Kueter, Freeport, IL, Darla Sturm, Bellevue and Sue (Bill) Griebel , Bellevue; 45 grandchildren, 98 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren.

Besides her husband Leo and her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Kilburg, seven sisters, two brothers; two sons-in-law and two grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, March 25th, 2008, at The St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bellevue. The Rev. Fr. Stephen Meyer will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 4-8 PM at the Kingery~Lemke Funeral Home in Bellevue and again on Wednesday from 9:30 AM until the time of procession.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at Mill Valley Care Center for their special care and compassion.
