Deceased Name: Rosetta C. Kilburg
BELLEVUE, Iowa - Rosetta C. Kilburg, 91, of Bellevue, died, Monday, Aug. 4, 2008, at Mill Valley Care Center, Bellevue.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 11, at Ss. Peter & Paul, Catholic Church, Springbrook, where friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 10. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Kingery Funeral Home, Bellevue, is in charge of arrangements.

She was born on March 10, 1917, in Springbrook, daughter of Nicholas and Anna (Monner) Sprank. She married Julian Kilburg on Jan. 31, 1939, in Springbrook; he preceded her in death.

Rosetta was an easy going person who liked to be active. She was a homemaker who enjoyed quilting and gardening. She lived for her family and spending time with them. Rosetta's grandchildren meant the world to her. She will be deeply missed.

Surviving are her seven children, Anneva (Richard) Kieffer, of Dubuque, Jim (Jan) Kilburg, of Springbrook, Larry Kilburg, Virgil (Jeannie) Kilburg, Nancy (Paul) Kilburg and Dale (Karen) Kilburg, all of Bellevue, and Janet (Kevin) Sieverding, of Springbrook; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Florence Manderscheid, of Maquoketa; and step-sister, Naomi Schmidt.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Elizabeth; three children in infancy; three brothers, Ed, Elmer and Leo Sprank; and three sisters, Irene Barth, Almie Manderscheid and Lorraine Williams.
