Evelyn M. Neubert Obituary
BELLEVUE, Iowa -- Evelyn M. Neubert, 88, of Bellevue, died Saturday morning, Sept. 4, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Bellevue. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7, at Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bellevue. Friends also may call after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home until procession to the church.
She was born on Dec. 23, 1921, in Bellevue, daughter of Nick and Clara (Yoerger) Heiar. She married Don Neubert on June 3, 1947, in Bellevue.
In her early years she worked at Ensign Coil in Bellevue.
She was always on the go and enjoyed shopping, baking, gardening and taking care of her flowers. She also looked forward to spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband of 63 years, Don Neubert, of Bellevue; three children, Marie (Dick) Zeimet, Gary (Elaine) Neubert and Vicki (Gerry) Kuhl, all of Bellevue; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Allan (Ruth) Heiar; and a sister, Verna Mae (Raymond) Ernst.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Richard Heiar; and two sisters, Valeta Schmidt and Marilyn Haxmeier.

Visitation for Evelyn will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Bellevue and again Wednesday morning after 9:00 until procession to the church.
