Last Rites For Henry Sanger, 74, To Be Friday

Henry W. Sanger, 74, died Wednesday morning at his home on North Olive St. after several months illness. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p. m. at Carson and Balster funeral home with the Rev. H. D. Green officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope cemetery.

Henry William Sanger was born Jan. 18, 1873, at Iron Hill, a son of Louis and Mary Spires Sanger. He was married June 27, 1897 in Maquoketa and for many years they resided on a farm south of Iron Hill. Several years ago they retired from farm life and became residents of Maquoketa.

Surviving are the widow and eight children: Ray H., Daisy Schnoor, Gold Ray of Maquoketa; Jerry of Lost Nation, Camilla Bock of Elwood, Grace Flynn and Harlan of Davenport; Bernice Harier of Seneca Falls, N. Y.; one brother, Charles of Maquoketa; two sisters, Mary Hartman of Appleton, Minn., and Bertha Hartman of Maquoketa; also 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
