Cora Sanger Funeral Held Here Friday

Mrs. Cora A. Sanger, 76, widow of Henry W. Sanger, died Tuesday in her home in Maquoketa.

Funeral services will be held this (Friday) afternoon at two o'clock in the Carson funeral home. The Rev. M. H. Nothdurft, pastor of the Methodist church, will officiate and burial will be made in Mt. Hope cemetery.

Mrs. Sanger was born Aug. 25, 1879, near Maquoketa, a daughter of William A. and Ellen McCard Head. On June 27, 1897, she was married to Henry W. Sanger; he died in 1947.

She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Golda Ray, Mrs. Daisy Schnoor, Mrs. Grace Flynn and Mrs. Camilla Bock, all of Maquoketa, and Mrs. Berniece Harrier of Seneca Falls, N. Y.; two sons, Jerry Sanger of Elwood, Ia., and Marlan Sanger of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Reiter and Mrs. Blanche Bradley of Maquoketa; and 20 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
