John T. Taylor, 75, of Phoenix, Arizona, and formerly of Maquoketa died February 2, 2002 at Phoenix Baptist Hospital.
Funeral Services with full military honors will be conducted at the National Memorial Cemetery, Pheonix, at 11 am on Thursday, February 14, 2002.
Mr. Taylor was born September 12, 1926 near Maquoketa to Theodore and Caroline Straub Taylor.
His business career included ownership of a grocery store and meat market in Phoenix where he and his wife have resided for the past 30 years.
Survivors include his wife; a son Brad (and Sandra) of Pheonix, a daughter Brenda (Mrs. Gary) Walker of San Diego, California, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren, a brother, Calvin Taylor of Clinton, and two sisters, Marcella Cahill of Peoria, Arizona, and Camilla (Mrs. Jerald) Ritenour of Preston.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Freda Losey who died December 10, 1999.
A memorial fund has been established.
