On Saturday, Jan. 30, 1892, in Butte City, Montana, John A. Lamborn passed from this earth to that home above, after a week's illness.

Deceased was the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Perry Lamborn, of Washington township and was born Oct. 2_, 1858. In 1881 in company with several friends, went west, where he has since resided, up to the time of his death.

Mr. Lamborn was a promising young man of strict integrity, universally respected and stood high in the estimation of his fellow men. His death is both a great shock from its unexpectedness and a loss to the community in which he lived, to his parents, relatives and friends.

The remains arrived in Bellevue on Saturday morning, Feb. 6th, and were taken charge by the Masonic fraternity of that city, according to the request of the Butte City lodge, of which he was a member.

His brother Will, having made Montana his home for the past year accompanied the remains home. The funeral services were held at 11 o'clock Sunday--and the rainy disagreeable day did not prevent the many friends from paying their last respects to a worthy esteemed friend. The sermon was preached by Rev. Dunning, of Chicago, of the Presbyterian church, and was ably delivered, after which the remains were laid away in the Presbyterian cemetery, near Bellevue, where they were followed by many relatives and dear friends.

The family have the kind and heartfelt sympathy of the entire community in this, their first great sorrow.
