Chas. Lamborn Passes Away

Services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Carson Funeral Home, Maquoketa, for the late Charles E. Lamborn, who passed way unexpectedly at his home in that city on Monday afternoon.

The Rev. Laurence Nelson, pastor of the First Presbyterian church of this city, officiated at the services and burial was made in the Presbyterian cemetery at Bellevue.

Mr. Lamborn was born June 24, 1876, son of Perry and Winnie Callahan Lamborn of Green Island, and spent all of his life in that vicinity until about a year ago when he retired from farming and the new home was established in Maquoketa.

He was married March 30, 1919 to Miss Inez Montgomery of Green Island, who with one son, Clifton of Maquoketa, and one granddaughter survive. He also leaves one brother, Robert of Preston, and a sister, Mrs. Catherine Powers of Emmettsburg.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
