Mrs. Clara Beck-Erick, of whom we made mention in our last, after a few days took a relapse and died Friday, Jan. 27, aged 21 years, 11 months and 16 days. Mrs. Erick was a consistent member of the Lutheran church and was loved by a host of friends for her liberal Christian spirit. The deceased was one of Andrew’s popular school teachers and in the school room she had the love and good will of all her pupils. She was married to Jacob Erick Feb. 11, 1897, and leaves her husband and infant child 12 days old and a host of friends to mourn their loss. The funeral services were conducted at the Lutheran church Sabbath afternoon at 3 o’clock, Rev. Adix officiating and was largely attended. The body was laid away to sleep in the Andrew cemetery.
