Forrest KehnForrest Kehn, 92, of Maquoketa, died Saturday night, Aug. 22, at the Maquoketa Care Center.
Graveside services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25 at Union Cemetery, south of Maquoketa, with the Rev. Al Rusk, Delmar United Methodist Church, officiating.
Visitation was held Monday at the W.G. Carson & Son Funeral Home, Maquoketa.
Mr. Kehn was born Sept. 3, 1894, in Clinton to Jacob and Elizabeth Kendall Kehn. He married Adah B. Morehead on Feb. 6, 1918, at Clinton. She died March 11, 1985.
Mr. Kehn farmed in the Delmar area until 1962, when the couple retired to Maquoketa.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. William (Joyce) Lyon of Auburn, Calif., two sons, Donald of Houston, Texas, and Gerald of Maquoketa; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and a sister, Opal Grossman of Maquoketa.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a sister, and four brothers.
